Here’s a clip of some CROCKers performing with the Central Oregon Community College’s Jazz Combo at their semester finale. Check out guitarist Damon George hitting the drums! Special thanks to their music instructor Rich Hurdle.
Several CROCKERS kept up the jam late-night at Flatbread this week. Some of the best playing by the kids ever! Check out their solos on keys, guitar, and then bass. Amazing talent! Yet another example of what the best piano teachers, guitar teachers, bass teachers, and drum teachers are able to offer for music instruction in Bend, Oregon.
CROCK parents got some Jazz & Funk Music Schooling by Robert Walter’s 20th Congress at the Liquid Lounge in Bend, Oregon. Robert is one of America’s heaviest jazz-funk keyboardists. He and the Congress crew laid it out and gave us all some great real-world Piano Lessons, Drum Lessons, and Guitar Lessons. Check out the old-school rotating amplifer!
Last week some of the CROCK team sat-in again with their music teacher Georges Bouhey at Flatbread in the Old Mill. Another nice rendition of the Barrett Strong classic Money (last played in April at flatbread if you want to compare it). A great example of how listening and practicing with your guitar teacher, bass teacher, and drum teacher pays off for music students in Bend, Oregon.
CROCK members got some roots music schooling by The Sugar Beets at the Belfry in Sisters, Oregon. And it was a nice renuion as well. Crock Producer Jean George went to school in Boulder, CO with the sugar beets own Scotty Perey. Scotty and the crew lay it out and give us all some great real-world Piano Lessons, Guitar Lessons, and Voice Lessons. Not to mention the great rythm section and fiddle player. Good Times!
The Cascades Rock Ensemble music school in Bend, Oregon was featured in central Oregon’s Hot Sauce Magazine for kids and teens. It’s a fun magazine about activities for kids.
